A Sample Email Communication to Parents of My Student

I have had several opportunities to interact with parents of students. These included parent/teacher conferences, telephone communication, and/or correspondence by email to parents about students’ learning and behaviors. It should be added that the advice, guidelines and information given to me for communicating with the parents or guardians about students' learning have been very useful. The picture in the left is a sample email to the parents of one of my students. As you could infer, the parents seemed to be very concerned about their child's academic progress, an issue which I addressed very thoughtfully and honestly with compassion and passion.
